So a few weeks ago Tana Mongeau had her event or partially had here event “Tanacon.” The youtuber had the intention of creating a free event where fans would meet creators such as Shane Dawson, Casey Neistat, etc- basically a free version of Vidcon. Unfortunately, due to the horrible planning people were made to wait out in the sun for hours without food or water, overcrowding in the venue, and ultimately the event canceled. Many people have wondered who’s to blame is it Tanna, is it Goodtimes the event company she hired. Tanna claims she was scammed by Goodtimes, the Ceo of Goodtimes claims Tana was not putting an effort in detail and was asking for unrealistic requests.
I do not think Goodtimes was in the right, HOWEVER
THIS WAS TANA’S EVENT, SHE NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT.
She’s young and still learning, but shifting blame doesn’t work.
Bottom line and the reason I’m writing about this is that when you are put to a task or a project or whatever you need to be constantly in the space of responsibility for your actions as well as others.
